1975 cj5

Hello, my first time here so if I'm in wrong thread let me know. I have a 2 part question. I have a 1975 cj5 in drivable condition. Has a 258 I6 with a carter carb.
1. Which motor mounts should I go with. I drive back roads and gravel roads with very little off roading on the farm.
2. The other day it just died and back fired. I noticed 3 vacuum ports missing hoses on the carb. Also it may be out of timing. After a few minutes it fired up and I continued my drive.
I just bought the jeep last Friday

Stock motor mounts should be just fine for general driving conditions. If the back roads are bad washboards I would recommend polyurethane mounts. I have a 79 CJ5 that goes through stock rubber mounts like nothing. Poly solved the problem.

For the carb question, I would recommend getting all of the vacuum lines routed correctly or capped off which ever is appropriate then tackle the running problems. The carb won't work right nor the distributor if there
are leaks.
