Re: 2007 Grand Cherokee - Bilstein Shocks

MY opnion is quite different, i.e. I had WK Bilstiens for a year and could not stand the rough, bouncy and harsh impacts over ever little bump, and also the poor handling. In corners, the inside shock is pushing up from the high pressure gas, where it needs to be compressed, as it is with my new setup. Hitting bumps mid corner with Bilsteins, and you just lose control as the vehicle bounces around. Replaced them with Koni FSD's, which are so far superior in handling and ride quality, there is no comparison. I now can push the WK in high speed corners /entrance ramps with total confidence, where I could never come close to with the Bilsteins, with a much flatter and composed ride quality.

Re: 2007 Grand Cherokee - Bilstein Shocks

I bought them for my 2007 GC this summer (2014) and they perform very well and I have a much smoother ride.
