3.0 L V6 CRD - Performance Parts Help

Hi Greetings from the Uk.

As you can see from my profile I own a 2006 WK 3.0L V6.

I have already done a green LED light conversion on all cabin lights as well as footwell ambient lighting. ( I will try to post pictures over next few Months)

Performance wise I have added a diesel power tuning chip.
I am pretty much maxed at 270 BHP..And my Jeep sure does shift now.

But over this side of the pond for my model of Jeep other performance mods are really thin on the ground !!

I can't find for my model any:
  • Induction Kits
  • Performance Exhaust kits
Any ideas guys?
Anyone able to help in my performance quest for my humble 3.0L V6 WK?

Re: 3.0 L V6 CRD - Performance Parts Help

Who did you use for tuning chip? Nothing out there for intake mods except what I have done with my crd jeep. Check out my performance mod thread in the diesel section. I welded up an aluminum intake tube, upgraded the filter and modified the air box intake tube for better flow. You can really hear the turbo spool when the windows are down.
Exhaust you can get DPF back exhaust but you won't gain any performance without getting rid of the DPF filter. I make a delete pipe out of 304 stainless. I also got rid of the exhaust resonator at the rear if the vehicle. No real gains on that because it's already flow through. But I picked a little more of an exhaust note..
