Re: 3.7L & 4.7L ATI Harmonic Damper & UNDERDRIVE PULLEY

hey AirRam....do you know of the gain by running ATI Harmonic Damper & UNDERDRIVE PULLEY???? because I want to get it, but I am very curious as to either getting this first or getting my suspension first. So can you convince me???

Re: 3.7L & 4.7L ATI Harmonic Damper & UNDERDRIVE PULLEY

Nick, Moving it was my fault.

We don't allow For Sale threads in the other forums and when I signed you up I asked the Mods to move this thinking thats what you would have wanted as I felt it was a For Sale thread.

Feel free to start a new one in Performance Mods for a discussion on underdrive pulleys.

Since I considered it a For Sale Thread, right or wrong, I have a few questions in regards to the GB and the Pulley.

Lets say I choose to go 10% reduction, I buy the GB Pulley. What other parts am I going to need to finish this job? Belt? Other Pulleys? Idler?

Thanks

You would need to pick up a belt.... Since NOBODY has installed one on a 4.7L we dont know what length to chose... I do know that if you go 25% then it would be the same belt that is used with ASP underdrive pulley. So that should not be to difficult to figure out. But the 10% one will need a some measurements first. It may get away with the original belt... But I cant say for sure.

SPEED SAFE, AIR RAM

Aside from the increased protection at high RPMs I would say its worth about 10-15RWHP. But lets be honest... It would be well worth the investment if it showed NO gain at all... Just for the insurance of high RPM protection is enough for me, because this is the main reason for such a harmonic dampener.

SPEED SAFE, NICK
