Re: 4.0l upgrades?

How's about a plug and play chip? Will one benefit me enough to be worth it?

Re: 4.0l upgrades?

Unless you used something like Megasquirt or a Unichip I dont think theres any way to tune a OBD1 4.0 without really bandaiding the setup.

Re: 4.0l upgrades?

You can get or build an adjustable map sensor, and you can alter your crank sensor to SLIGHTLY mess with your timing, but you dont need that if you dont have mods you need to support,ie: big cam,stroker.... The obd1 jeep doesnt get the love it deserves .

Accel is supposed to make a full system for the 4.0 but it's a replacement, not an addition.

Re: 4.0l upgrades?

I forgot about it for some reason , but jet chips used to make plug in modules for the 4.0 (never had one so not sure of the difference) and hesco can make/program unichips, but hesco = $$$$
