Re: 4.7 Mods Suggestion - Performance

Ok, was wondering as no one really discusses the topic of intake throttle spacer....

Guess I should look at exhaust next and find a performance tuner...

Re: 4.7 Mods Suggestion - Performance

There are applications that they do work for, but not these.

Re: 4.7 Mods Suggestion - Performance

I know that you need: HO Cams and Beehive springs- ???? not sure what part Number or anything on that.

But thats it. You shouldn't have to pull the engine, but i bet your going to need time and a case of beer to do it.

Hell with this upgrade you should drop in the gen 2 intake. ryan has an adapter(port matched of course) to bolt gen 1 throttle body to the new gen 2 intake.

Re: 4.7 Mods Suggestion - Performance

Yeah I would definitely install the gen 2 intake mani. From what I've read you have to take the intake mani off anyway to get to the cams.

You don't have to touch the intake manifold to change cams
