yes sir

That is the correct belt... I added the belt part number to our product listing. Unfortunately our supplier does not carry belts. I would love to add them into a package deal. But you should be able to get a belt locally.

A balancer is more of a supporting mod. It helps allow you to extract the max out of the motor without it vibrating itself to death. Just like it's name suggests, it controls the harmonics (harmonic balancer) that can break things. More for high performance apps but it can benefit anyone.

#17 ·
if you get the 25% one you will gain hp

#18 ·
Yes... the 25% underdrive is worth approximately 15RWHP. The ATI SUPERDAMPER is basically engine insurance that will protect your engine from vibrating itself to death at high RPMS.

Hey guys! Sorry for my lack of involvement on here aside from the odd post now and then. I've been busy at work doing various training courses for a huge project...

Anyway my mods so far include:

K&N 77 Series CAI
Superchips PCM
PowerWire
Hi-Flow 3" CAT
Hi-Flow 3" CAT Back system.

I'm thinking off;

H.O. or 206 Cams (probably last TBH due to labour),
72mm F&B TB,
Mopar 2008 or Sullivan Intake Manifold

So Nick...

Would the Sullivan intake fit a WJ Jeep - do you know anyone who has tried it? If yes (or even no for that matter) is this intake going to produce a significant improvement (considering above mods) over the much cheaper Mopar 2008/H.O. intake.

I'm curious mainly because it looks outstanding!

Marty,

With this next stage of mods, you will need custom tuning. Superchips will not be sufficient. So you need to consider that almost before anything else.

I am not sure if the Sullivan intake will fit....from what I see, I am pretty sure it will need the hood modified in order to fit. I can't confirm that however. I am going with a modified and ceramic coated 08 intake, if that tells you anything.

Stick to the HO cams.

It is essentially a resistor that fools the IAT into thinking it is colder than it actually is. It has no bearing on the actual intake air temperature, so what Troy said is technically incorrect.

What this does is fools the PCM into adding a little more timing. I believe it also allows for a little more fuel at WOT. I have logged a stock 4.7 PCM cal's AFR at WOT, it runs quite rich especially above 5000 rpms so it is not needed.

Honestly, unless you have NO intention of ever getting a PCM flash or tune (aka Superchips, a mail order tune like B&G, or custom tuning a la SCT), don't bother with it.

it keep your intake 10 degrees cooler

there is a guy who installed the Sullivan on his Jeep GC... he did cut a hole in his hood though. So if you need a reason to get a new hood the Sullivan intake should be good enough reason....LOL

FYI - We now do SCT tuning! Send us your PCM part number and we will look it up and let you know if your supported. Right now you cant beat the sales going on for SCT custom tunes. Our current sale is $350.00 for SCT Tune with FREE TWEAKS & TUNES & Our Canned tunes are only $250.00. We cover 1996-2006 Dodge trucks & Jeeps.

So if your looking for a custom tune... let me know!

Thanks for the info Nick! There is a ram air hood available for the WJ but according to the site they don't ship internationally - I'll be contacting them at some point next year to find out for sure though...

Good to know you do SCT tuning too, I have the Superchips programmer just now which is fine for my current mods but the SCT tune would be great when I do the manifold and cams!

They took it up to 2006 and stopped their... Just keep on bugging them, that's the best suggestion I can give you. Unfortunately we can only tune up to 2006...
