Just letting everyone know that American Racing Headers is going to start producing full 5.7L 2005-2010 headers with mids and cats in a few weeks. My truck will be used as a template... Will post pictures throughout the process. Has anyone else been looking for these??

Bad news on the American Racing Headers topic. I just got off the phone with them, and right now, headers for the 2005 5.7L Hemi WK's are NOT in production. He said to check back in the summer for an update.
Good news for the '06+ WK's, though: headers are available for yours with 1 3/4" and 1 7/8" primaries. They have optional extensions for your O2 sensors and also optional cats. The fully fleshed-out kit will run you about $1800. An engine wasn't specified, so it's possible that it's only for the 6.1L. I forgot to ask.
I posted this comment in another thread, too. Sorry if it's redundant; just trying to spread knowledge.

That's a very good question. Unfortunately, I don't have an answer. I do know that it would take a while, because they'd have to make sure it fits *all* of the models in question. That means building a prototype, testing it, tweaking it, re-building it, testing it, tweaking it, so on and so forth. I imagine it would be a lengthy process. Come June, I'll call em again and see where they stand.
I may opt for the OBX headers for the 06-10 6.1L Hemis. I hear the inlet shape is only slightly different, and that it still fits the '05 5.7L. They don't come with cats (the cans look like cats, but I guess they're just resonators), but you could, conceivably, weld in your old high-spun cats and save money. I saw a set on eBay for $555. If you're running out of patience, you could try that route. The rest of the ARH headers are damned expensive, so I might go with OBX anyway.

I got cats in place of the OBX resonators but used the smaller Kooks Green ones that were the same size as them. KOOKS GREEN Catalytic Converter, 3 [GE-90140]

Even made a heat shield from the old cat housing to fit above them.

To run the stock ones it wont work unless you cut each end off and weld on offset round transitions instead.

This shows the new cats welded in with the resonators behind and one of the old cats as well to get a size reference.

I haven't spoken with them recently, but anyone can look them up and call them.
The route I'm taking is one that many other have taken: buying OBX headers for the '06-'10 SRT8 WK. They fit our 5.7 pretty well. The ports on the headers are slightly larger than the ports on our 5.7 heads, so there's no flow restrictions. You would have to drill a hole in the header flange for the EGR, and some people have had to trim a tab off of the transmission bell housing. I've heard that guys with the '05 didn't have to do that.
