91' YJ 2.5L Turbo? Help:)

I'm looking to rebuild my 2.5L and turbo charge for just a little bit more juice for my highway travels. Any suggestions on the best way to do this?
I know most people are going to say just do a swap, yes yes yes. I know. BUT, this is just what I want to do as of right now.
Maybe just get a small turbo and get the fab work done for the intercooler? Or what are some ideas?

Thanks for the help!!
