I believe the CAI would work on the 3.7 V6 as well...but we need some confirmation. I need a 4.8 V8 owner with the K&N Intake to meet up with a 3.7 V6 owner and see if the 4.7 K&N works on the V6. That should be proof enough. provide pics etc.
All interested in a TRUE CAI for their WK.....POST HERE NOW!
Price would be between $300 and $369. Bwoody also needs a volunteer near Edgewood, Maryland for test fitament etc. Please apply within---LOL
I have the k&n and i dont thinks its a waste ive gotten better mpgs, better responsiveness and power out of my 3.7 id say it was 240 well spent, im sure the bwoody is better but nothing wrong with the k&n if it doesn't work out for the 3.7s.
I'm actually interested because I think my new Jeep in January will be a 4.7L. I can wait til Monday and if it fits then I will order one. Takes forever though.
well....they are using 3.5" piping and having trouble with the machine that bends it. they may have to go 3" or 4' instead. One thing Tom told me was...during the initial testing the 4.7 Bwoody flowed better than the SRT bwoody.....good news in my book!
