Hydro locked? What kind of engine are you looking for? A 5.7 base block or 6.1 based block? Both can be stroked for more displacement.

I have a 6.4 stroker in my jeep. On a scale of 1-10 what is your mechanical ability? If it's not atleast a 7 I would not even think about this project....

Re: Any info on the 5.7 hemi stroaker kits ??

I have the 5.7 complete engine just I'm sure I ****ed a piston so i was thinking going stroaker kit

And my mechanical ability is Atleast basic nothing fancy I'm planing on having a shop do this for me but I'm buying everything on my own ..

Just wanted to see if it's true that the Trannys go out from the regular hemi if u go 6.4 ??

How's the reliability on yours ?? Pig power difference ? !

Yes big big power difference. Horribly unreliable. I say a 7 because you WILL break down on the side of the road and will need to know what's going on. The tranny lasted for a solid 6 months but I was flooring it at every light.

I agree. Mine is around 550 at the crank, but you could get to 430 with just heads and cam.

Oh yeah and not to mention you will need bigger brakes to stop the beast. Check out my build thread. ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1416881871.585172.jpg

New pistons to fix the damage and cam/heads.. plus tune will get you plenty of power. Even that will net you a good chunk of money but it will be worth it.

Too much power will lead you down the path of the demons like greenwayer..

Heads that go onto your engine block. Could either get your stock ones ported or buy brand new ones form a shop. Not to be confused with headers or exhaust manifold that attach to the heads.
