Bad MPG

I recently added a K&N Fipk cold air intake, flowmaster 70 series cat back with 3 inch piping and a magnaflow highflow catalytic converter. I used to get 17 mpg and now I get 13.5 that is a huge drop. Why did this happen?

Could it be that you're temporarily afflicted with a case of heavy footitus? I know that I'm still getting over it since doing similar mods plus a Hemifever tune. The problem for me is that I like the feeling of having this heavy beast actually move when I push down the pedal. I'm hoping to recover soon...it is very costly! Hopefully gas orices won't go up too far anyvtime soon.
