BBK 90mm Throttle Body?

So I have a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland with the 5.7L and a Volant intake, Flowmaster exhaust, hypertech tunning kit and just put in brand new Pulstar spark plus. The car runs great and has a lot of power. But I was wondering if a new throttle body will really help the performance? Does anyone have one, or can give me some advice?

Thanks

Re: BBK 90mm Throttle Body?

Thank you for your reply. Now if I purchase the 85mm TB will it be a good addition to the performance parts or is it not really worth it?

Thanks

Re: BBK 90mm Throttle Body?

With still stand cast exhaust manifolds, you wont increase the through put very much at all with that bottle neck still there.

Re: BBK 90mm Throttle Body?

That's true, but getting your heads ported isn't going to be very cheap. If you get a port and polish, you ought to get a valve job and performance cam. $$$$$$

I was referring to the standard exhaust manifolds actually. There is a lot of gain to be hard there even without going the extra step of porting the heads.

Oh, I see what you meant. You're absolutely right.
Only problem is that nobody makes headers for an '05 WK 5.7L. American Racing Headers only recently started talking about producing them after one of our guys brought his in for custom headers.
