Re: Best 0-60 for me

I also dont think thats out of line with giving the srt8 a car with 90 more hp stock and 30lb/ft of torque 2.5 seconds off a 60 time! thats quite a slowdown so i dont think my 7.1 is too low.

Ok the Jet chip like I said re-learns the stock form after a while. Also your wheels and tires are heavier and wider than stock form. Heavier and wider wheels will slow you down.

Next is the AirAid, while it does sound sweet, it is a hot air intake. It is above 10-20 degrees than a Bwoody CAI. Cooler temps equal a happier/faster Jeep.

Next up is your exhaust, the magnaflow catback is not a straight through, free flowing exhaust. Thats going to hold you back a little.

Thats my explanation on how you will run in the high 6's-low 7's.

Re: Best 0-60 for me

what does anyone think is the ideal wheel/tire combo for speed? Jeep's dont really need all the rubber that gets put on stock if your staying on pavement, so something lower profile than stock? I saw the tuners adjust for tire size

Re: Best 0-60 for me

Dude if the hemi does 0-60 in the high six low sevens, that means that I could concievably hang with a stocker! I would have to give myself a huge pat on the back if that ever happens for my 4.7. I know, I know, you srt guys laugh with your 4-3.5 second times.

Re: Best 0-60 for me

I don't compare the SRT8 with the other Jeeps. It's just not right. I had a HEMI Limited before the SRT8 and I didn't even KNOW I could mod it. Boy did I miss out.

Re: Best 0-60 for me

I just clicked off a 4.38 second 0-60mph in my turbocharged 5.7 Hemi Cherokee. My previous best was a 4.76 0-60mph. Pulling fuse #17 makes a world of difference.

WOW 4.32 sec !!!!! should you be running a lower 1/4 mile # , I mean 13.84 seams high for a car running 0-60 in 4.32 why are slowing down up top ?

Re: Best 0-60 for me

Here is video of me vs a stock 2010 SRT8 , His 0-60 on that run was 4.6 using his dash AVIC , So what would mine be on that run realistically
