Please explain how bigger wheels "put it down" better than stock, if you were correct my lifted WJ might be a 13 second vehicle!

Bottom line, go to the track. The BS stops when the light tree drops...

Actually it was being slow on the bottom end. Torque Management was killing it.

I have not been back to the track to run with the ABS fuse pulled which netted the new 4.38 time.

Pulling that fuse knocked .4 seconds off my previous best 0-60 mph time.

When I go back to the track, I should see a very low 13, or maybe a pinch better, and 104 to 105 mph now.

Sometime this week gonna try to get back to the track.

Re: Best 0-60 for me

yeah put it down better, the same reason srt8's have 10'' wheels in the back n lambos have 12'', a wider tire grabs the ground better and goes, my "putting it down", the stock ones felt like shit when i punched it off the line, I'm not saying mudders will run pro-mod times

Previous 60 ft was between 2.25 and 2.30, traction control was killing it. I expect now I should be able to get a 1.80 or so.

Damn cold here right now, Norwalk has nothing except an open race this Friday then closing down after a big haloween race.

Milan Michigan is open till mid November, but a 2 hour drive one way. Not sure if they will be running this week as it is mid 40's in the day and near freezing at night.

It's not so much your tires keeping you slow, but those heavy ass rims. Takes more power to get them rolling, and keep them rolling.

A wide tire is good to get traction, but you gotta have a lightweight wheel. The SRT rims are lightweight aluminum IIRC.

It's nice and cool out here today... I'll do a couple 0-60's on my way home from work with the superchips.

What does fuse #17 do?

Well not so sure of that just yet! Goal is to take the all stock 5.7 with the bolt on turbo at low boost to run with or slightly better than a stock SRT-8 Cherokee.

I am pretty close right now, the speed is there, just need to get the 60ft and ET down a bit and I will be there.

The ABS fuse looks like it will do it based on what I saw last night, just need to get verification.

May go make a 1/4 mile run tonight on the dashhawk to see what it comes up with, they are within a +/-.1 from all the data I have seen.

When I launched last night it was instant boost off the line and it pulled like a freight train.
