No way did he sit in the seat and mess with the predator. There were true revisions going on from what I can tell.. so it should be a CMR.

I'm sure he did some logging I asked how the a/f was and he went to his laptop to check the adjustments. The canned tune was rich and he leaned out the a/f and said it was reading around 11.9-12.0 under what conditions I'm not sure but he said the canned tune was down around 10.8
Gotcha..... just trying to understand that he didn't getcha. Just trying to make sure he wasn't only adjusting the settings on the handheld for the WOT SPARK and WOT FUEL. You can still use the laptop to do the Datalogging with Diablo's Dataviewer program that you can get.

There's percentages of fuel to adjust, but not percentages of timing. Timing is adjusted in Degree's by the way.

Sounds like you got a pretty good tune. 10hp. gain is great over a canned tune without being balls out. You gotta watch out for tuners that will severely de-sensitize the KNOCK SENSORS so they can run more timing. Enjoy the new tune bro. It'll definitely wake the Jeep up a little more.

I think I will start researching cams, but if you know me that doesn't mean that I'm going to act on it any time soon. One thing at a time..

Haha, maybe a question mark after and I would have understood it's context. I'm laughing now

Give me five car lengths and you have a race.

LOLz! Great quote.
I'm metaphorically racing Joe over in NYC we have an arms race based on numbers going on for N/A 5.7s

Turbo Tim already has us beat, he doesn't count.

Re: Blackpepper's Dyno Tested CMR Tune - Pics/Videos

I turned down a race today myself. Some tool in a Camaro Z-28 SS(not a new one) was next to me at the light. Hell, I've got 8 gallons of 100 octane in my Jeep right now. I'm not wasting it on his ass!

12.0 is pretty safe AFR's. Yeah 12.4-12.5 would yield you some more power but that approaching the Oh No Zone. Esp. depending on your timing. You've got a good tune. Have fun with it. I need to get back on the dyno to see what I'm putting out now with my cam. Maybe I'll do that next week. Thanks for getting my little hamster wheel turning!

Re: Blackpepper's Dyno Tested CMR Tune - Pics/Videos

Nice job, Blackpepper. You could probably pick up another 3-4 whp by going to a AFR of 12.3-12.5. But where you're at right now, the tune is very safe and allows you to add more mods before needing a re-tune, such as a throttle body, headers, etc.

Re: Blackpepper's Dyno Tested CMR Tune - Pics/Videos

I'd go leaner for sure (personally). and Chefalan, the figure is at 4 wheels which from my experience is a little lower than rear only.
