Okay so I have an 05 Hemi 5.7 WK Limited an I'm looking to break into 13's as a personal goal with my jeep. I was looking to see whose done it and what your mods were..

MY CURRENT MODS ARE:
91 Predator Canned PCM Tune
FlyinRyan's TCM Tune
Fastman Standard Bore Throttle Body
3.5" Custom Intake.
Cats Deleted
3" Flowmaster Catback Exhaust.

Just looking to get some insight on what it will take to get this brick into the 13's

A set of headers and a good tune should get you there. You could even look into doing a 09-10 Eagle intake manifold.

In my opinion you need to lower the truck also. Put an Iebach Pro lowering spring kit in. It will cost around $225 plus labor. You will come off the line a little faster. The 2012-2014's sit very high stock. The ass squats really far on launch before your tires actually move forward.
Also Mopar is known for restricting their engine's power through the exhaust manifold. you can probably get up to 50 horsepower from a header back exhaust then add about another 30 HP from a gifted tuner. you put that with intake you could be looking at 470-480 at the crank.
Also do not try to remove the front wheel drive portion of your AWD system. It wont work.if it does work you will actually activate the traction control since you can never fully shut off the traction control only retard it a little bit.
If you have the control knob for drive settings the best way to launch is with it set on auto with the traction control off. You can launch it the hardest off the line with that setting. The sport mode is better for highway driving and fuel economy but it doesnt launch well because the traction control kicks in when you launch even though it shows it is shut off.
Also put 45-50 psi in your tires for less drag upstairs.
I hope this helped

Well, finally got the the jeep to the track last night for a run in the cold weather we are having here in Florida...... Best previous time was 14.18 in 80 degree heat...... Clicked off a 13.76 with a 2.05 60 ft...... I also have to lift every time I shift so I am losing a bit there....... Temps were in the 40's....... Once I get my 71 Hemi challenger project done I will put in the 6.4 VCT cam I have been sitting on installed and see what I get..... With a good hook maybe 13.50's or better????. TBF

I run low 13's all day, everyday. Just make sure you find a reliable and reputable shop to do your work, a company that has experience with mopar is a must.
