Re: CAI Intake Performance and Performance Chip

i saw a video a few weeks ago where 2 jeep srt8's were drag racing. one was completely stock and the other had a predator tune, bwoody, and borla s exhaust. the race wasn't even close. the tuned one outran the stock one by 20+ car lengths. i have the 93 tune on mine with Brute Force CAI and a magnaflow large case muffler. the tune was the last thing i did and the results were incredible.

i found the youtube video but it has some NSFW language in it so i posted it in the garage section.

Maybe 10-15, at 5800 RPM's. LOL

But seriously get the Bwoody, you want your engine breathing better. And also get the Diablo. But when you get the Diablo, do not wait long to get a CMR tune. That is when you will be able to tell the difference. Drivability will be totally different.

Re: CAI Intake Performance and Performance Chip

Be aware that the bwoody intake gets dirty a lot quicker and can even inhale water, so it's not as foolproof as ones mounted under the hood. I went with the AFE stage II for that reason, and can feel the improvement in power, but it is a bit loud.
