Re: catch can for 3.7 anyone?

Did you ever do this? I can't find much information about using a catch can w/the 3.7L V6. Was it worth it, does it catch anything?

If you have an SRT6, *maybe* (like Jeff), , otherwise, spend your coin on something useful. IOW, no.

Hey now.... I dont have one of the fastest 3.7's on here for no reason lol J/K. Any engine could benifit from a catch can if it means keeping oil vapors from being recycled back into the engine. As we all know, oil dont burn for crap and that means timing is pulled to prevent K/R and that kills power.

Re: catch can for 3.7 anyone?

Idk, Jeff. You certainly know more about it than I do, but I think you'd get just as much benefit from one of those stinky pine tree air fresheners!!

Most of those benefiting from a catch can are the 4.7s & 5.7s. The positive Crankcase Ventilation (that stands for PCV ) and the oil control system in the Hemi is junk (at least from *my* catch-can research).

But the 3 and 4.7L's are the same bro just the 3.7 has 2 less cylinders. That means the pcv systems are also the same
