Hope I haven't hijacked the thread, but I have a lot of questions about this. Since I have an '05 WK with a 5.7L, it's pretty much impossible to find headers that any website will claim to fit it. I'd love to go true dual on that sucker, but I can't find anything for forward of the cat.
Any links or pointers in the direction of another thread in this forum? I don't want to have to pay an arm and a leg to have a shop build me a full custom exhaust, just so I can look and sound pretty.

Cool beans. I'll look into it, thank you!
Also, I have no idea how to send a pm to someone if I don't see them in a thread somewhere. If you know them, would you mind asking them to pm me?

Re: Challenger SRT8 headers on WK 5.7?

Lol my truck will be getting headers made by American racing headers Friday. It's going to be a 3 weeks process. They will reproduce them after. They just want to see an interest in WK 5.7headers on this forum.

Re: Challenger SRT8 headers on WK 5.7?

Nice! Count me interested if the price is right! (I think somewhere around $600 would work for me. I realize that that's more of a mass-produced price, but hey, I've got a family, lol. Gots ta save mah moneys.)

---------- Post added at 02:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:28 PM ----------

By the way, sleeps messaged me last night. I guess OBX headers for the 6.1L will actually fit our pre-2008 5.7 WK's. He pointed me at eBay, and the prices for them are all around $600, some are less, if you just get the headers.
However, the prospect of getting headers that are specifically designed to fit our WK's is very attractive!

Re: Challenger SRT8 headers on WK 5.7?

t goes in Friday. The owner told me it's no where near the price of an SRT8 headers system on there website. I will find out Friday. I would prob say $1000-1300 maybe?

Re: Challenger SRT8 headers on WK 5.7?

Cool beans. When it's done, you should totally start a new thread about it. Pics, price, all that jazz. Would be an easy way to see what kind of interest is generated.
Might be enough of a motivation for those guys to start building more of those systems. If I could get a full bolt-on true dual with new headers for ~ $1000, I'd definitely give it serious consideration. I'm sure there are plenty of 5.7 WK drivers out there who'd jump at the opportunity.
