Ok Frankie and I met up yesterday morning at Irfan's house and we load up the Jeeps with the stuff for the tailgating. He has about I guess maybe 60 pounds of stuff and I have like 20. LOL. Anyways we are on I-95 and we decide to go from a roll. I guess we were going 75 mph maybe. The usual 3 honk and we are off. HE WALKED ME TWICE with ease. I had it in 3rd and ESP OFF and no Tow/Haul. I don't know what gear and/or button Frankie had the Jeep in. Can someone please explain how someone with SRT wheels, 60 pounds of shit, a passenger (I think she weighed like 90 lbs. LOL), and he is 85 pounds heavier than me, walk me like that? How the **** is that possible?
It's the RIMs -- anytime you put anything SRT on your Jeep it's faster by default
[except for badges/stickers, those don't count]
So the question I have is what is the difference between your Jeeps? Same CAI? Same exhaust setup? Tunes? Same year/model?
We know wheels+tires are different so that's something to look into. I don't believe the SRT rims+tires weigh less than stock since they are bigger but it may have an affect on running from a roll. Possible change the overall diameter and therefore affect the gearing? [this is an interesting idea here...]
It's too early in the AM to really think clearly but those are the first thoughts I have.
