Re: CMR Tunes...

its all about data. they all giver you a baseline. maybe MHP baseline liked Joes mods better than your DCX one like yours.

you need to talk to whoever about getting YOUR tune dialed in. you can do some logging with the predator, an AF wideband would be better, time on dyno best.

so my 2 cents: decide your tuner long term. discuss your goals with them. discuss datalogging. get some revised tunes.

Re: CMR Tunes...

I got an idea for ya guys....do some suspension mods and then invite Joe to a track and leave hi in the dust. Racing just isnt 1420 feet

Re: CMR Tunes...

This thread wouldn't be fair if we were comparing two tunes fellas.. this is about the same tune from the same company...

if the tunes and mods are the same...then theoretically its the driver. There is alos a difference in trucks. Next time you guys go....let Joe drive your trucks and see what he comes up with. Joe has a lot more experience with 1320 racing than either of you guys.

Re: CMR Tunes...

Assuming nothing is mechanically wrong....I would suspect the two tunes are not identical.

Are both trucks running lower temp thermostats? tire size the same? rims? What are the datalogs saying?

To be really sure, a wideband is necessary.

I think TMan has the stock tstat and Joe has the 180!

Both have stock tire sizes and rims!
