Re: Custom CAI

What tape are you going to wrap it with? Heat Shield tape? There's a company that makes a heatshield sleeve if you're interested. I think the largest diameter was 4" but looking at your tubing, it might be difficult to get it on. Not sure. If you're interested, PM me.

Re: Custom CAI

OK. It's not some super secret thing but I've been thinking about doing a custom CAI too. Here's the site with heat shield products.

Good Luck.

Re: Custom CAI

Thanks, yeah it's 4" PVC tubing, so I think that a 4" sleeve would be a very tight fit if it fit at all. I am going to look into what the best option would be. Any suggestions? I think I saw one person on here do it witht eh heat tape wrap, but I cant remember who off the top of my head. I like the custom fit, i mean i didnt feel like spending 350.00 for a molded piece when i could make one that will perform just as good if not better. The paint job was quick, I am waiting until the spring to get out the sprayer to really give it a nice coat, but who knows I may not need it if it gets wrapped.

Ben
