Hello everyone,

I just purchased a D1 Procharger Kit for my 2014 Jeep SRT. I was wondering if anyone else has this kit on their SRT and if anyone has any tips for the install? I'm fairly confident I can do the install myself, especially since the cheapest I could find a shop here locally in Washington to do it was just a little over $2200. HemiFever is going to do the tuning for me, even though I will still take it to the dyno. I did take the conservative route buy getting a 5.5lbs pulley instead of the standard 7lbs pulley... At least until I can forge the internals on my engine. I also ordered 60lbs fuel injectors, 1 step colder plugs, and EBC performance/racing brakes. Kit should be here in a week.

Current Mods:

92 Octane Tune (HemiFever)
OBX Long Tube Headers
High Flow Cats
X-pipe
Injen CAI
87mm Throttle Body
185 T-stat

Hey guys, I got the supercharger installed finally. It's been a headache though, the guy tuning is having a hard time due to the air fuel gauge being installed incorrectly. Have any of you dealt with this before? It's an Innovate Air Fuel Gauge, has three wires remaining yellow, brown and white for data logging or something. Diablo makes an analog cable with 4 wires red, black, green, and white. These two can connect, but neither Diablo nor Innovate know what goes where.

I'll be honest, this whole process has been expensive and painful. I've had the kit on for over a month now and it's still not tuned correctly. Procharger sent me a 10psi pulley instead of a 5.5/6psi pulley by mistake. It wasn't realized until we were getting excess of 600hp at 5000 RPM's, but my fuel psi was dropping to 35psi (should be at 42-45psi), so we couldn't even max the power out. While I certainly want all that power, the stock internals won't last long... Especially running that lean. I'll have the new pulley here Monday morning, so hopefully this solves the fuel issues and it'll be good to go.

I was using Hemifever to do the tuning through emailed data logs, but he couldn't get it dialed in. Now the shop is using HP Tuners and its providing much better results. No BS, after the kit was on my 0-60 went from 4.1 to 5.4 and my 1/4 mile went from 12.8@ 107mph to 14.4@ 93mph. I was believing I had literally just made a $10K+ costly mistake. Hopefully next week by this time everything will be said and done and I'll have the results I've been so impatiently waiting for. Videos to follow for sure!

Auto part Muffler Pipe Metal

My front two O2 sensors had to be moved just a few inches in front of my catalytic converter, similar to the distance of my rear two O2 sensors. This helped reduce the rough idle and it also allowed the computer to have a more accurate reading of my AFR. I needed extenders so the would reach this spot.

love it...how long do you have to chill to break it in?

I test drove a '10 SRT8 with a Vortech....the world shrinks when you mash the gas and that thing kicks in, total thrill ride....I would get in lots of trouble with one...

So far so good. I had my procharger installed back in June and have had no issues. It's no secret that the rods and pistons are relatively weak in comparison to the V6 or 5.7, but the key is in the tuning and making sure you don't boost more than about 6psi. I certainly don't baby mine and every time I go to the dealership they inspect it to make sure everything is running/working right. I've heard of several people destroying their SRT's by adding a blower, but it's normally because the tuning is bad and or they are trying to boost at 7+psi.

Not really. Headers and an exhaust would probably be ok to open her up a little but it just depends how far you want to take it. If you want to turn up the boost, you're going to need to build the motor first. Or if you want to test the stock internals, just make sure you run a very low psi and get a damn good tune.

Hey! Sorry for the slow response, I haven’t been on here in a while. I used Bruce Titus Jeep in Olympia. Talk to Brian Applegate he’s the head of the service department and he did my install, great dude and super knowledgeable about this stuff. I had the tuning done at Dings Automotive in Vancouver Washington, Troy did an incredible job! I’ll give you the numbers to both shops.

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been on here in a while... I was having issues logging in to the site. I have some new videos of my supercharged SRT at the track I'd like to share. Those that are subscribed to me on YouTube have probably seen them already, but if not, check them out! Also, I ordered the Trackhawk, so I need to sell my current SRT if anyone is interested, or knows someone who is. I can answer any questions you might have.
