Re: Diablo Trinity T-1000

Keep us posted as I'm looking into one of the T-1000's also.

I am suprised that MDS does that much, it shouldn't even be active unless less cruising at light load I though? But I guess that is not the case.

Re: Diablo Trinity T-1000

Got my Trinity a few months back and love it!! I will post a pic of how I mounted it since I got tired of taking the suction cup mount everytime I parked it. Basically, mounted the "rod" through the cubby how under the A/C controls near the shifter.

Re: Diablo Trinity T-1000

Tune is great...Trinity, not so much

It has the same connection as my iPhone for the OBD port into the Trinity and the connection inside broke I have plugged my iPhone in 1000+ times so IDK

Sending it back today...had it less than a month, plugged it in maybe 25 times at the MOST! FAWKING pissed, but oh well its covered...I just miss having the data log and need to put it back to stock before I take her in for a couple minor issues.

With my CMR tune I def do not get better gas mileage (and MDS off) but I was still able to get 19mpg going 80+ mph in 100+ degree weather (went down to the desert, so half of the 500 miles was in some serious heat). Still havent done the 180 tstat yet...should I?

Re: Diablo Trinity T-1000

Data log and get your tune re-tuned. My first version I didn't see any MPG gain, but with the second revision I saw an increase of about 2mpg on longer trips.

Used a dremel (probably not the best tool) to cut the back corner off with a notch to accomodate the suction release tab. Pulled the arm threw the hole and then snapped the console back in. There is just enough pressure to hold the arm but its not solid. I definitely did this on a whim and think I had the gods on my side with the hole I cut. Proper measurements and patience will probably result in a better outcome.

Re: Diablo Trinity T-1000

Can you data log right on the trinity? With the predator you have to hook up your laptop and data log using the Diablo software. Kind of a pain having to drag the laptop out just to data log.

Re: Diablo Trinity T-1000

Yes. You can datalog but still need a PC to analyze the results. Personally, I have not used this feature much but maybe in the future I will.
