DiabloSport Trinity Economic Tune?

I'm going on a long road trip tomorrow with my 5.7 HEMI and I'd love to have the better fuel economy over performance for this trip to help save some cash. Is there a tune that exists that improves fuel economy rather than boosting performance? Or does the default 87 performance tune improve fuel economy over a stock tune?

No tune. However, I noticed a jump in my fuel economy while running the 87 tune with 93 oct gas.

Best way to get better milage is change your habits.

Re: DiabloSport Trinity Economic Tune?

I think the 91 tune and a light foot would result in best mpg.

Re: DiabloSport Trinity Economic Tune?

keep the MDS enabled, tune to 87 canned diablo tune and run 89-93 octane...from my experience and trial/error, that is how I can get the best MPG's w/ the Trinity

Re: DiabloSport Trinity Economic Tune?

Thanks guys. I didn't have a chance to check back before my trip but I found that I dropped to about 10.5 L/100KM compared to my previous trip which dropped to about 12. Unfortunately, I don't think the extra 8 cents per litre to get 89 octane is worth the difference I would have got, especially since I went somewhere where gas was already 15 cents per litre more than in my city.
