I have my custom side exhaust with a magnaflow style muffler, Stock Air box with K&N filter, custom air box to TB plenum tubing, removed the air intake cover behind the grille and in a week or so i will have an FRP Ported TB.

Will i need to save up for a tune to get my jeep to run right or will it be ok or learn itself?

05 4.7 V8.

Do you "need" a tune? Probably not as the engine will most likely adjust to the mods. Do you "want" a tune? Only if you really want to maximize the benefits from the upgrades. Investing money in those mods without also budgeting for a tune is probably not the best way to go about things if you wish to get the most bang for the buck.

Do you need one? No.

If it were my truck, I wouldn't go any further with mods on Superchips....Others can and probably will disagree. They only add so much fuel in their tunes to account for users adding mild modifications. Not their fault, but that's the way tuning works.

Stick to the stock tune, knowing your personal situation right now I'd save your money and wait till you can do it all correctly.

Cool. That works for me. I was actually hoping to get this answer because i did not want to install any thing else that would require more money to be spent to stop from having bad side effects.

If anything...superchips can read and clear problem codes :)

ah yeah... if your putting on boost and goodies that go with it, superchips isnt good enough for sure.

But for the general stuff it'll be a handy tool to have Id think.
