Eagle heads on wk 5.7

Ok guys so I read a HOTROD mag article saying the eagle heads on an early 5.7 with srt headers srt intake and right cam would yield 420rwhp!
I have the intake, injectors and complete srt manifolds and cats. I came across a cheap set of heads. They boast 11:1 comp with this set up and a 0.075" head gasket.
what do you guys think of this set up?
Also the heads are from a 2012 5.7L Ram. Sould be ok right?
I will also change springs for stiffer ones and drop in some lighter intake valves.

I'd just make sure you have the valve to piston clearance at that point. But it sounds like it would be a fun setup

So here it is! 2004 Durango motor and 2013 5.7L Heads off a Ram. Pair that with some porting/clean up, big cam and a modified valvetrain and this baby should make some power. Also have a 6.1L intake and injectors/rail and SRT manifolds/mids. This will be a winter build for me going in my 2005 WK
All these parts were dirt cheap!!!
Any tips are welcome.

Eagle heads on wk 5.7

Alright so block it ripped down and going for a nice soak at the machine shop so I can get it all measured up and make some decisions. I got a 6.1L crank which are forged compared to the stock cast 5.7l crank. It's getting checked and magnafluxed as we speak. Also looking at some diamond forged pistons and some forged rods.
Cam is ordered and is a comp 273H-14 which should love the 11:1-11.5:1 compression I'll be throwing at it, along with the 6.1L intake, fuel injectors and rails.
Johan will be doing the tuning.
Estimated Hp is 420 at the wheels and that's a conservative estimate before I spray it.

Re: Eagle heads on wk 5.7

Displacement remains at 5.7L. The 5.7L and 6.1L crank are identical except the 6.1L is forged.

Re: Eagle heads on wk 5.7

Do you have a 6.1 intake manifold? Not that you necessarily need it, just wondering.
