what exactly does the ported tb actually do? not really sure of it.

In short, it allows more air to get into the motor...which creates more power

Colder plugs= spark plugs. These should be easy to get to on a 4.0 WJ.

180 stat= 180 degree thermostat. This helps regulate the flow of coolant so that it runs cooler. I haven't done one on a 4.0, but I imagine that it's easy enough if you take your time and follow instructions.

Superchips is a PCM programmer. If you can read english and plug it in to the OBD2 port under the steering column, you can load up a tune. Its really not that hard.
