econoaid -- any users out there

i was looking at airaid site the other night and saw that they have a product called econoaid which is a "spacer" that goes behind your throttle body to twist the air

i was wondering if this:

= actually works or is just snake oil
= if it works would be overkill if you already have a ported throttle body and airaid jr kit

thanks in advance for any input
