Re: fastman TB, magnaflow muffler.. intake needed on 4.7?

Get It!! I have the K&N 63 on my 09 4.7. Helped with throttle response and just runs better. I don't know how much power it added but it sounds awesome. Running Superchips with 91perf tune w/trans app. Definitely worth the money.

x2 on the superchips too.
I know you might have a 4.7 but did you take off the plastic hood from the intake to the tb?

U can get the same cai for the 3.7L and it'll fit the same. I noticed the sound was amazing, and gained high end power but lost a lil on the low end, but was solved with the tuner and I loved it. Ended up getting muffler too

Yeah just checked it out and it's coz the 57 that comes for the 3.7 is the 1545 model and one I purchased is the 1548. The difference is the 1548 goes straight to tb with out resonator. It's louder and I guess better air flow

That's weird I don't think they do, I think thats the only model that k&n makes for 3.7 even the metal 77 looks the same, I know u can get the model with the resonator for the 4.7 and with out as I have. I've heard of guys making they're own, coz that box that says 3.7 on it is just a silencer. It's a shame if they don't make one for the v6 that's straight to tb, coz it frees up extra room and provides a better noise as well. Do u have a tuner yet? Coz I know Hypertech makes one for ur made and it's a good tuner for lightly mod'd jeeps
