Finally installed the WK Bilsteins and SRT8 sway in the rear

Finally had an evening without rain last night so I decided to do the rear shocks/sway bar when I got home from work. Very easy job, took longer to put the thing on jack stands and gather all the necessary tools than it did to do the install. I must say it drives like a completely different vehicle. No more wild bouncing up and down when on rough roads and there is a noticeable decrease in body roll on hard turns. I do notice how bad the front struts are now with the back end so tight. Hopefully this weekend I will have a chance to put the front Bilsteins on. On really hard turns I notice it now has a tendency to want to oversteer so I will probably be getting the SRT front sway to balance things out better. I guess I'll make that decision after I install the new struts. Here are some pics.

Nice!!! Does it sit up higher?

I didn't measure before and after but it seems to sit just a little higher in the rear now.

niec bro looks great!
Thanks Irfan!

nice bro that's what i'm going to be doing this weekend :)
You will be shocked at how much better the ride is. The stock WK shocks really suck.

hurry and get the front struts in and you will be amazed at the difference. And yes...the WK Bilsteins raise the WK 3/8"
I'm going to put the fronts in this weekend even if I have to do it in the rain lol Before I did the rear the front end felt ok but now that the rear is done I notice the front end bouncing around - not as bad as the rear was - but it's bad enough that it's driving me nuts now. I'll make the decision on the front SRT sway after I do the fronts but I think I'll probably end up getting it. Should have done this a year ago.

You will need the front struts I did that after I had the rears in for a while and I don't really think I need teh front sway bar.. the handling is great for 245 tires

The fronts are going in tomorrow  I can't wait :w00t:

You know you could have done all that without removing the back tires? Just jacking the back end of the body up a few inches would have done the trick.
Yeah, but it was time to check the rear brakes and rotate the tires too. Plus it made it easier to get at the sway bar.

Looking good. I have the rear sway bar on my list but not the shocks simply because I dont want to loose any of the lowering height I have now. But makes me want to buy some blue and yellow paint and paint my stock shocks to look like Bilsteins. Lol.
