1980_cj-5_on_35s is on a distinguished road
Gear swap

Hello, my names thomas an I have a 1980 cj-5. It's a 258 straight six, fuel injected, all new suspension, 4 inch spring lift, with dana 60 in rear and dana 44 in front, and disc brakes all around, on 35 inch tires, and it's geared to 4.88 rear and 4.86 front. Now my problem is that I tap out around 55 mph on the freeway an I was cureouse to if I went down to like 4.10 gears or lower would that bring my high end speed up a little? I only need to do like 65 or 70. An I'm not worried about low end power because I have alot of that already but top end there is a lack.
