I know the Gen 2 has a slightly different ignition setup with 16 plugs instead of 8, does this contribute to the power at all? Right now I have an intake, and muffler, but I would say I've only gained a few HP, I might be in the high 240's if im lucky. Would the intake and tune alone give me an additional 50hp? If so I may do it too.
I had other items that got me there...and there was lots of little things I did that added up. If you dont want to swap cams, then at minimum you need a big TB,a 4" CAI, 3" Y-back exhaust, Gen 2 manifold, ported adapters and tune.

only if a Gen 1 manifold is used...Although it would be a hell of alot easier to get there even with a Gen 2.

Ohhh, I misread and thought you had a standard Gen 1. I got excited for a minute thinking I could make the 300 mark that easily.
