Hypertech Interceptor Install and Review on WK2 3.6l

I wanted to try out the Interceptor for my 3.6l WK2 and decided to make a video about it.

If you don't want to watch the video, I am pretty happy with it. Plug and play, has basic improvements, and definitely better throttle response.
I enjoy making reviews and such, so if you have any questions just give me a shout!

Other than gaining a couple of miles per gallon? Nope...which is fine by me. Works fine still...no error codes, etc. Very happy!

Re: Hypertech Interceptor Install and Review on WK2 3.6l

Well installed it yesterday, def felt increased power and throttle response. Pulled into my driveway 20 minutes ago and the car throws CEL light and the red flashing lightning bolt on the dash. Took off the throttle booster first, still there, took off the whole unit, and the lights go away. Unit is going back Monday, and I don't think I will be ordering another in fear of messing something up!

Re: Hypertech Interceptor Install and Review on WK2 3.6l

That's odd, I haven't had any problems of the sort. You might want to try contacting Hypertech.

Re: Hypertech Interceptor Install and Review on WK2 3.6l

Yeah I may try that first, probably just a defective unit, just not sure if I want to risk getting another bad one

The odds of getting two defective in a row are slim. Give them a shout and see what they say. Be sure to let us know!

Re: Hypertech Interceptor Install and Review on WK2 3.6l

Spoke to hypertech, they wanted me to plug everything back in to the car to determine the issue, I declined as I didn't want to cause further issues. Returning to autoanything for a full refund. I may purchase a new one in the future. From preliminary convo they think the throttle booster was defective.

Re: Hypertech Interceptor Install and Review on WK2 3.6l

Not that I am an expert or anything, but I am thinking it would be hard to do any actual damage...but I can't say I wouldn't do the same as you.
