Hypertech vs dynojet
Just wanted some info.
Which one out of the two do you prefer or suggest. What are the do's and don'ts of the two, per se. For example... Rev limiter, speed governor, shift points, HP's, MPG's, etc. Just looking to modify or get the best (if possible) out of my 5.7L Hemi.
As of now, I have the Magnaflow Cat-back, K&N CAI, and JET 180 T-stat. Also, I know some of you, if not a lot of you have reservations toward the JET Stage 2 chip but I've had this chip for a year and I ACTUALLY like it. IMO I "noticed" a gain (little but nonetheless) on MPG's and HP's just from the feel of it at least in the mid-range area and not to mention I did leave a 2010 5.0 in the dust (short-lived) from the line, up until SHE hit about 60 or so then... at that point it was a totally different story... let's just say I enjoyed about 3 car lengths ahead of her at the get-go but then in a flash all I could see were her tail-lights. ***She was one hot blonde BTW!!!!!***
Anyway, the JET chip has served its purpose especially in how the JGC shifts and the way it runs- smoother... but I think I'm ready for something else... something I can adjust and configure to my needs and my driving habits.
Please forgive me in advance for my ignorance or the lack thereof when it comes to this sort of thing but any info you can give me will be appreciated. Let me know what your likes and dislikes are between the two. Or if have a better suggestion for my set-up other than the two mentioned or getting an SRT8, please feel free to share.
Thank you in advance for your help and knowledge. Happy holidays to you and to yours!
