Increase Power & Torque on Jeep GC MY14 3.6L V6 Limited

Hi. This is my first post on any forum on the net and specially here. I want to know if anyone knows any Tuner around Sydney? I currently have Jeep GC MY14 Limited 3.6L V6. I'd like to increase the Torque and the Power.

Currently everything is stock except for the tyre. I changed it to Copper Tires 275/45/20. The ride hight is very similar and speedo is similar to the stock Kumho. But ride is a little bit stiffer and less slippery than the Kumho 265/50/20.

Any suggestions or other recommendations on maximising the performance?

Thanks in advance for reading this post and for your suggestions!

First off..Welcome !

I'd suggest going into this forum : Engine Performance/Intakes/Exhausts - Jeep Garage - Jeep Forum

and take a a look at some of the threads there...lots and lots of info about what people have tried and done...I have a 2014 3.6L myself and have tinkered with it a LOT for the past 2 years

I've tried Cold air intakes/ported throttle bodies/ Custom exhausts...etc...

and none of them really seemed to add any REAL power...the only thing that helped me in the quest for more power was the RIPP supercharger kit.

I've seen a lot of guys comment on the Hemifever tune but I have never tried one so I cannot say if it's "REAL" horsepower or not....everyone seems to have a different opinion...

One thing I did recently add that gives you the "feel" of increased horsepower is the Sprint Booster...it eliminates the throttle lag and really helps with throttle response.

Good Luck Man!

Ajag I was looking into the sprint boosters...most say it's gimmicky at best because there are no real power gains, but the concept makes sense to me considering our slow to respond throttle. Did your jeep throw any codes or have any problems when you installed it? I'm not looking for high speed just more pep in my step. Any thoughts after using for some time?

That's because the sprint booster isn't a power mod. Its sole purpose is throttle response

Yeah I get that, just wondering if after using it for a while if he feels the mod is worth the money.

You know...the ported throttle bodies and CAI's/Exhausts are power adders supposedly...but they don't really add any HP you can feel ...for the money I would recommend starting with the Sprint Booster...

It makes your Jeep FEEL faster because of the throttle response...and I swear that I get better boost up top with my Supercharger since adding the Sprint Booster...I'm wondering if my Jeep was truly getting 100% throttle input when the peddle was mashed...I know Sprint booster claims some vehicles don't really get 100% throttle

I don't know though...might be in my head...but I was so happy with the Sprint Booster that I ordered another one for my 2015 Durango as well...

only takes like 2 minutes to plug this thing in also..

I feel like part of the reason the 3.6 really doesn't benefit from an exhaust us because the exhaust manifolds are intergraded in the heads and almost impossible to improve without porting. Its just not a design to build good power on. Now i think if you could put a legit set of headers on one and go from there the gains would be larger....

The sprintbooster is the real deal highly recommend. Put one on my 09 gen 2 4.7 was night and day difference. Buying one for the wife's 15 altitude.

Only real good mod is a blower.
Recently installed an Edelbrock on my 14 JK
Dynoed in 4wd with 35" tyres so numbers are low, but check out the % increase.
Has transformed it on the road into a torque monster that pulls hard all the way to 7k. Beats my brothers Renault Megane RS turbo now!
