In my search to find the perfect lightweight rim/tire combo for the Jeep. I have come across some good info in reguards to wheel/rim weight w/ charts. Linked below.
Check it out...some good info!
"For every pound of weight you add to your wheel/tire combo, it's equal to adding 2X that amount of weight to the vehicle. This applies only to straight line acceleration and braking! It also plays a part in turning due to the gyroscopic effect and the suspension having to control all that added weight spinning around"
The SRT8 20x9's = 36.2lbs forged w/polished face
The SRT8 20x10's = 37.6lbs forged w/polished face
These are my stock rims: Ronin II 17" x 7.5" unsure on lbs, Cast aluminum wheel machine face with painted pockets.
If anyone has any data on the weight of their rims...Please post up!
I'll edit as we go.
