Installing headers in a 5.7l ....

I was wondering will installing headers in my 2008 5.7 hemi void my warranty ? And are the power gains and sound quality worth the risk of voiding the warranty?

Re: Installing headers in a 5.7l ....

You can have AJ install your headers and you can buy them from him too.

Speak to him about the warranty.

Talk to HEMIBEAST, I think he is the only one who has headers installed on a 5.7

Re: Installing headers in a 5.7l ....

ARH are the only ones who make them for the 5.7.

Hmmmmmm thats odd.

Hey thats the cost man. No market for them, well thats what the companies say.

Make up your mind whether or not you want to get this done because if you are going to get them, do not do the dyno tune until you get them installed.

Correction ARH doesn't make them they only make srt8 so that's why they have to make it all custom work

Re: Installing headers in a 5.7l ....

2100 seems a little steep. I have been quoted less. Although they are custom made, its just the regular 5.7 flanges from the LX's put onto the tubes of a 6.1 jeep header.

Youll also need the wiring harness. And probably a wideband to measure AFR. Most of the headers come with a bung for the sensor already drilled

I am looking to finally pull the trigger on this around july
