Looks to be China stuff mate. Some things are mostly AOK to use (like intercoolers etc), but be wary of turbos. They are typically unbalanced, poorly machined, and can create a disaster. I do however know of guys who have purchased them, sent them directly to a turbo rebuilder and had them balanced etc, and they've beeen ok.

Yeah the piping, flanges, intercooler, etc look OK,not great but ok. I'd be wary of the turbo itself. Perhaps they'd sell you the kit, minus the turbo, then go grab a MasterPower turbo,if you're on a budget. Or a nice Turbonetics if you're not, lol.

What tips me off about the turbo itself,it says 50-100 hp at 8 psi,and 485 at 25 psi. That tells me that it's very inefficient, especially at higher boost levels and looking at the ar ratios makes me think it's possibly a small take off turbo from a 4 cyl car.

Bubba.... just so you know, I run China front mount intercooler and aluminium pipework on my race car, which has to run for 6 days absolutely flat out. I've tested it for flow and cooling ability and it's fine. The China parts that concern me are the parts with moving parts, like turbos. remember turbos can spin at upwards of 200,000rpm, so they gotta be good parts, and balanced!

wonder how much they would want without that crappy turbo? I still have twin 9B's from my last VR4.....

You could use those to make a real torque monster scooter, would run out of puff in the top end but boy, she'd come on HARD :D

I remember looking through all the features built into the Diablo and was stoked to see they came calibrated for positive manifold pressure, BOOST BABY :)

Well, I won't say that it is junk, as I have not seen the parts up close. I will say that what you would get is a couple boxes of generic components, nothing is specific for a Jeep.

The turbo looks to be a T3/T4 Hybrid, likely a T60-1 which E-Bay always lists as a T70 for some reason. It might be smaller. Certainly not optimal for a V8.

Really no need for the cooling fans, will not work if you have a 5.7 with the hydraulic fan unit.

The wastegate is far to small, can't see the BOV to tell what it is.

The intercooler is only good for a realistic 300 HP set up.

Rubber, not silicone couplers.

No need for a battery mount, miles of hose wrap, inexpensive silicone hose for vacuum lines, fuel regulator, manual boost controller is junk, no need for a turbo timer, universal aluminum tubing that you can't cut or weld easily.

This is from a quick look at the ebay ad.

I build turbo systems for the 5.7 Cherokee/Commander (first to do so), I would definitely pass unless you are simply looking for an $1100 grab bag of parts.

And kinda on topic I guess, I was on youtube looking at srt8 at the tracks, and that Hennessy twin turbo is sick to watch. Looks like a rocket going down the track.
