Any chance you could ask the shop if a V1 could be sub'd? My concern is the bolt pattern fitting due to the 3 tabs the V1 has

Here's the V1, notice the 3 ears circled in black. Disregard the red, was going back and forth with Vortech and thought he was referring to those, but he emailed me back circling the correct spots where he said could possibly be a mounting issue.

Mine is already mounted so I have no easy way to measure anything, sorry. Can't the Vortech rep pull up the technical drawings on his computer and tell you if the mounting dimensions match up between the V1 and the V3? That is supposed to be the job a good sales engineer.

Baseline dyno before install was AWD 260 HP. Disappointing for a 360 BHP engine rating. TC was fighting it on the unlinked front/rear dyno rollers and probably robbing some power, should be able to run in "dyno" mode with the InTune programmer to shut down TC/ESC completely once the supercharger installation is complete.

Dyno results are in! 435 peak AWD HP, up 67% to the wheels from baseline of 260.

Blue is stock tune, stock exhaust.
Orange is the canned RIPP tune with S/C and SRT catback.
Red is custom tune.

Ice storm hit today just as it was getting finished so I have yet to run it. Driving impressions to follow.

Feels like a bit bigger engine under the hood but since it's not my DD it will take some time to collect data. Is my DD today with snow on the ground but ANY extra power is useless and downright no fun in the snow with the electronic nanny watching my every move. At least I don't have that plug-in big brother thing from Progressive, they would probably cancel my policy.

Coming directly from a 911 Twin Turbo and a WK SRT before that, I don't think the RIPP'd Summit with efficiency minded gearing is going to be the same rush but the system seems to be well designed for a very strong top end. I'm looking forward airing it out a bit far from town, or in the mountains next summer to feel the passing power. Stay tuned - no pun intended.
