ok guys i ordered mine and got it in! if you don't own one and want it dirt cheap here is how you do it..

go to autoanything.com and look up part # "k+n 63-1545", now call them 800-874-8888 and tell them you see this at http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/ for 191.93 shipped with coupon code "TENOFF"

autoanything.com will also knock off another $10 from your order and your total will be 181.93 for a brand new short ram from k+n. YOU WILL NOT FIND A CHEAPER PRICE! i did my homework on this before ordering!

i spoke to ryan at ext 618 and he was very helpful.

you're jumping to conclusions bro!!! i will post this week(i promise) on how to delete the air res!!! it has already been posted once on this site (marlon) and with the k+n it will be perfect!

fyi - to delete the air res will cost an additional $30 (part from your jeep dealership)

my bad, i see the engine cover and forget the tb is in the front unlike the 3.7 and 4.7 where the tb is in the rear of the intake mani and the engine cover is the muffler.

as always kyle, you are correct :D

but as irf has brought out that you use another piece to connect to the k&N and the TB to delete the muffler.

Ok, i will bite on that, just do like you say and full pics and part numbers. I like you self am sick of waiting for Bwoody and want to ditch my stock setup for pretty much anything at this point that will gain me performance and air flow.

I was almost thinking of getting the Polished K&N intake tube alone from K&N since that goes TB to intake filter, Wrap it in heat wrap to block out the heat and then put a Amsoil dry filter on it.

ok guys intake is in!!!

only 1 issue... my crankcase vent hose was too long so i cut the rubber pipe but it kinks. i want to get a longer hose and and connect the hose to the intake. can i use a fuel grade hose?

rob - im chickening out on cutting the metal pipe:)

yeah omar, i put the intake in yest, i really don't hear a diff but it is a little zippier.

i have to buy a 1/2 rubber hose today to extend the crankcase vent hose that plugs into the k+n pipe. it kinks currently and i dont want it to do that. i have it disconnected at the moment.

i am happy with the unit! i will take pics of what i had to do so you are aware as well...

DO NOT LOOK AT THAT STUPID DIAGRAM PIC ON THE 1st PAGE WHEN YOU INSTALL ...

look at the pics and follow the steps... that diagram is freaking backwards!!!
