Hey Guys, its been awhile since I posted. Been busy and had some issues to deal with, got over it, so I'm back.

Today just finished a mod, I'm really really happy with it and I spent a lot of time trying to get it "just right". Lets put it this way LOL....Joe used and abused it haha. I sanded out the rust on the metal filter housing, and bought myself a new filter just because I wanted the "new" look and lastly bought new weather stripping. I spent countless hours sanding, grinding, primering, painting, coating with clear. It was fun and a major learning experience.

I would like to thank Joe (Robert Palmer) for the AMAZING price on his used airaid intake and 180 tstat and maxst2 for helping me out all weekend through bbm on painting tips. I have progress photos, but I'm not sure if people wanna see them.

However, here is the final product. My custom Airaid intake, and painted strut bar.

:)

Pictures don't do it justice!! And I'm glad to be back guys!

love the hemi orange. haven't seen that color on a wk engine bay before. i think it would look great to paint the raised lines or the 5.7L Hemi on the engine cover. the whole thing orange might be too much but some subtle lines would look awesome.

That looks way better in fullsize pics than on the blackberry lol. I have an idea. I'm going to repaint the bar and get some of that clear sticker stuff and wrap the top to protect it. I can't get to that till October though.

its the insulation on the hood thats marking the paint. It comes in contact with the hood when closed. Just cut way that area of the insulation and you'll be golden....
