Re: Look what I built today

Yeah, I realize now that my engine needs a good detail. I think I'm just gonna paint it for now with no logo, then maybe later on down the road it will act as a nice base coat.

Gotta love those homemade intakes!

They're always the best ones.

Good job.

2 cans should be enough...or 3. Good Luck!

Thumbs up Re: Look what I built today

That's my boy! He did a great job on it....Matt let me test drive it and judging by the old seat of the pants feel, I would say it performed alot like my old 98 Mustang GT.
Definate increase in torque and pulled nicely throughout and with a sweet sounding rumble....very nice exhaust note....now to make it look nicer....maybe flat black engine paint or medium black engine paint?

Dad

Re: Look what I built today

Great job with the intake - looks pretty damn clean!!

Good to hear that you've noticed an improvement in performance with it too.

Yeah us 4.7 and 3.7 guys are pretty fortunate to have such a huge empty space to run an intake through. Side note, my jeepgarage logo just arrived! woo hoo.

Re: Look what I built today

Hey man I was given this site for paint in a can also.

http://automotivetouchup.com/spray_paint.asp

Also some autoparts stores that mix paint there can put it in an aerosol can.
