Go back and think that over..."Aluminum disapates heat better".

I agree with you, but that means you are heating the intake air at a higher rate than plastic.

I had AL tubing, boy! howdy it gets hot. I ditched the CAI and went back to stock.

Insulated aluminum is better than plastic.....but it doesn't matter much.

Um not to be a Debbie Downer but our engines done reach the speeds or drgrees where the plastic vs metal would make a difference and be that much effective over the other. What would you be shaving off .0034134319 seconds? I think it'll be more effective in general over the stock.

well I think I am going to order this intake finally. The price seems right and it is the only one that eliminates the stock resonater.

just checked the cai out will it fit a 2008 it fits the 2007
