The bigger the length of the muffler, the quieter it gets. The shorter the muffler, the louder it is.

You were told this before.

Im adding SRT8 piping, resos and tips after it.
For me flow master is good but the other said that magnaflow is better so I'd also choose magnaflow..

Re: Magnaflow or Flowmaster

For what it's worth, I have the Magnaflow Catback on my 5.7 and it sounds absolutely BEAUTIFUL! You can tell it's there when you crank up the Jeep but idling it is super quiet and when you stomp on it, it can get loud! Overall I am very pleased with it and would recommend it to EVERYONE! Here it is: http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...ne=all&id=7028

Re: Magnaflow or Flowmaster

Guess im the ONLY on with a Flowmaster... BUT i LOVE it!!

I wanted the deepest sounding exhaust since i have the 3.7L. So I got the FM Super 44 and it rumbles like a beast.. (Hard to believe, but it does)

ive had FM 40s on my prev TJ and XJ, after awhile they get too loud and drone annoys me. they sounded amazing though- the TJ more than the XJ.

Re: Magnaflow or Flowmaster

Ive had flowmasters on my 4.0's for years.I love the deep idle, but I agree they can drone on the hwy. Its fun to set car alarms off at the mall when you start it up
