Re: Miles per gallon help

you didnt mention it but if you have larger than stock tires youre mileage is not going to be accurate nor is the odometer
Tire size calculator

scroll down to where you enter youre tire size make sure you enter it as they have it with the / after the aspect and - before diameter than you will get a percentage differance from stock to what you have now apply that to youre readings and see if that helps. of course if you have stock tires than, nevermind

Bad O2 sensors can also destroy mileage

If the o2 sensor was bad wouldn't the check engine light go off?

Not necessarily. A "lazy" o2 sensor still functions.

Hmmmm ok that makes sense. Do fuel pump o2 sensor air filter and exhaust... As far as exhaust goes I'm thinkin about goin with a magnaflow muffler and probably leaving the cat. I don't want a noisy jeep.

Start with a can of BG 44k in the tank...$20 and you may see dramatic results

Re: Miles per gallon help

Its a fuel system cleaner, I didn't know what it was either. Plan on putting some in my 2002 JGC eventually. Everywhere I look on the internet people are praising it for its results.

yeah, lots of people think that. this particular one is just .060 over, cam , a head decked a bit for comp, and open exhaust.
not the fastest thing, didnt put much $$ into it yet, but good for a 1.9 60' and 14.7 @ 91(ish-been awhile)at 1305' elevation.....wheels up
