Mopar CAI

Is there any difference in the Mopar CAI for the 5.7L Hemi and the 6.1L Hemi. They have 2 different part numbers but the intakes look the same. 5.7L part# is 77060010AB and 6.1L part# is 77060011AB. Anyone have any experience with them. I want to know if the Mopar 6.1L CAI will fit on a 5.7L Thanks

I the 6.1 cai piping bends down at a 45* angle just before the filter

The 5.7 cai does not

Re: Mopar CAI

I would get the 6.1 CAI if I was going Mopar.

Re: Mopar CAI

eh, i would just get the 5.7 intake if i were you. i agree the 6.1 looks better but the wizards at mopar probably put a bit more thought into it than we do. it would have been cheaper for them to make one for both but i'm sure they had a solid reason for making different ones for each motor.

Re: Mopar CAI

I have the 5.7 version on my WK (didn't know there were two till now) and about the only real complaint I have with it is the actual size of the filter. Just seems a little small to me but maybe the Mopar guys do have a good reason for the two versions and maybe I am wrong about the filter size.

Re: Mopar CAI

From looking at the pictures, it looks like the 5.7 actually bends a little more towards the back of the jeep.
