Yeah, that would be the safest bet. Go back to stock, then do the tune. Sometimes I'll go straight from one tune to another. But i think they recommend going back to stock each time. You don't have an aftermarket amp do you?

No i don't have any aftermarket electronics in the Jeep. Sometimes wish i had a sub but i am not that big of an audio guy to care. I might get one one day.

Re: "Mwoody" Finished product

I dont know what updates it did, but it did something. Although after the updates to the tuner and thrown on the jeep, with test runs the best i could do is 0-40..4.34, 50...6.34, 60..8.55. hahaha i guess it is what it is.

Re: "Mwoody" Finished product

Not sure... they were changed 9k miles ago and they make the jeep run far smoother and did feel better even in the stock mode back when i replaced out the copper ones that were shot. I might just post up a topic on superchips forum explaining the situation and see what someone thinks.

Ill just have to hold out for a hemi in my next vehicle from chrysler.

Before I was introduced to the wonders of the bwoody, well, I had a metal intake. It was getting so hot I actually talked to Milous about it and he recommended the cool tape. I ordered some, wrapped the tube up and it greatly reduced it's temperature. Pre-tape, the tube was too hot to touch. Post-tape it was definitely warm but you can just tell that there was a reduction in heat.

Buy this cool tape if you have a metal intake already and want to reduce heat. I might even put it on the bwoody, no reason not to but it's painted and I kinda like that...

Here is the AEM wrapped in the tape:

Couple questions Ryan - I want to wrap my intake with "cool tape". You said in your post that it won't stick to plastic (my airaid intake tube) so I was looking at this stuff

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/DEI-010416/

and it seems like this may work better as it is not exhaust wrap? My other question is when you wrapped it, did you overlap and keep one continuous piece or individually cut pieces to wrap it in sections and overlap that way?

Anyone have experience with this stuff??? This stuff looks cool!!!
