Ok...So we ran into a couple probs due to the fact that I didnt have some parts and that the bumper wasnt on completely! The parts were no big prob as my exhaust guy fabbed some up, but the bumper not being on completely made it a bit tough to center the pipes! Ill just have to stop by again on my next day off and have him move the left one over a bit! Other than that all went well so here we go....

Hey dude, thanks for the Text updates on this all day, ive been waiting to get home so i can hear it. I just got the confirmation that my SRT8 exhaust is on its way from California tonight and should be here by wednesday or thursday. I cant wait. Enjoy it dude.

I also completely removed the spare tire "winch".

Sounds great, I am hoping that mine will sounds just like Scotts, sinc ei have the 4.7 not the hemi, if thats the case it will be a little quieter then my current setup, which is wha ti want.

Frankie that looks fricken Sweeeet, Now I do have one question..... I love the look of dual center tips and the sound is almost perfect, but I tow a boat and really do not want to loose my hitch. So has anyone ever seen someone extend the tips at a slight angle down under the hitch.

Thanks for the input and sorry if I hijacked your thread

Wait a few more weeks. I have a stock SRT exhaust on the way, and i am modifying it to fit 1 tip on each side of my stock trailer hitch. I tow and i use my hitch for my bike rack alot.

You trim the plastic on one side and move the 7 way plug behind the bumper and trim off the metal.

then you just need to get fancy with pipe work and mounting everything, there will be a thread and lots of pics.

There is a Mopar kit for the exhaust and a srt trailer hitch but its onlt a small 1 3/4 hitch (i think) with a max of 3500lbs towing. the tips turn down, it looks like ass to me, check just for jeeps.

My setup is gonna take a bit of modding and work but it will be sweet when its done.

Sorry for the Hijack!

Sounds like shit Frankie.

Just kidding bro. Sound freaking awesome. Although I will still call you a wuss for keeping the resos. :D

And Tom, a powerstick on a 3.7 will be interesting.
Ya im curious, it can only make it sound better i guess and theres prob less chance of bad drone on a v6 if it isnt bad on the hemis, im excited though i wanna make some noise lol

My friend has an SS there quick but not that quick, gm really didnt put anything into the body beside the wheels, and the exhaust is lame compared to the Srt to.

I had no idea the powerstick was out of the HEMI. Great job Frankie. Looks and sounds great. How does it compare to the powerstick in regards to drone, sound level, depth?

Enjoy!

Yeah man...Its out and Tom is going to try to put it in his 3.7!

Drone is still there so I would say sort of similar in comparison! Sound level is totally diff, IMO! Now it is more quite at cruising speeds, but when you step on it its def louder and deeper than the PowerStick!

I def like it now a lot better!
